In the Operational Program of the Region of Central Macedonia 2014-2020 and specifically in the action ” Innovation Plans” . EKKOKKISTIRIA PAVLIDIS SA implements an investment project entitled “Creation of a digital innovative and reliable system of handling seed cotton”.

The main purpose of the project is to create this innovative digital system to assist the management of stored seed cotton by detecting areas of high humidity and temperature throughout stored cotton.

This system will develop a cotton moisture recording system during receipt, storage and all stages of the production process up to the final product and will be supported by the creation of intelligent software for automatic management and processing of large volumes of data.

The aim of the project is to improve the control of raw material storage conditions and to improve the production process, by increasing the quality and quantity of annual production and concluding more efficient contracts that will help both the company and producers / growers.

The project has as a research subcontractor GROWNWEST SA that will implement the testing and evaluation of the individual systems and software, which will be developed based on the data and parameters processed by the executives of our company. GROWNWEST is a pioneering company developing communication and Internet technology solutions, focusing primarily on the areas of Wireless Communications, Software Integrated Networking, Sensor Networks and Energy Management. A significant part of CROWNEST executives comes from the University of Thessaly and incorporates significant academic research experience and knowledge in the project.

The results of the project during its implementation and upon its completion will be announced on our website as well as through other publicity actions.
